Cooper-Standard Automotive Announces Organizational Changes

Novi, Mich., July 25, 2007 - Cooper-Standard Automotive Inc. announced today the following organizational changes as part of its continuing process of organizational alignment and operational excellence.

Joseph J. Emmi is appointed to the newly created position of vice president managing director Asian operations Cooper-Standard Automotive Inc., effective July 30, 2007, reporting to Ed Hasler, president & chief operating officer. Emmi will be responsible for all Fluid and Body & Chassis operations in China, Korea, India, and Japan. Emmi was vice president managing director, Fluid Systems Division International.

Rolf Herzog, in addition to his current position as director of operations, is appointed interim vice president managing director Europe Fluid Systems Division, replacing Joseph J. Emmi, effective July 30, 2007, reporting to Mike Verwilst, president Global Fluid Systems Division. Herzog will be responsible for all the European operations of the Fluid Systems Division during the external search for a managing director.

Randall W. Parker is appointed vice president operations North American Fluid Systems Division, effective August 13, 2007, reporting to Mike Verwilst, president Global Fluid Systems Division. Parker will be responsible for all the North American plants of the Fluid Systems Division. Parker was vice president managing director, European Body & Chassis Systems Division.

Lawrence J. Johnson is appointed, vice president managing director Europe Body & Chassis Systems Division, replacing Randall W. Parker, effective August 13, 2007, and reporting to Keith Stephenson, president Global Body & Chassis Systems Division. Johnson will be responsible for all European Body & Chassis Systems operations. Johnson was vice president operations, North American Body & Chassis Systems Division.

Michael S.Talaga is appointed vice president operations North American Body & Chassis Systems Division, replacing Lawrence J. Johnson, effective July 30, 2007, and reporting to Keith Stephenson, president Global Body & Chassis Systems Division. Talaga will be responsible for all the North American plants of the Body & Chassis Systems Division. Talaga was vice president & general manager of NISCO, a 50/50 joint venture between Cooper-Standard Automotive and Nishikawa Rubber Company.
